Seaworld Ohio - Make sure you make time to visit Seaworld Ohio. This is definitely a "can't miss" adventure for kids of all ages. See Shamu, the water ski show and if you stay until closing, watch the "red,bright and blue" laser light show. If you'd like to make Seaworld one of your vacation stops, Seaworld is open from mid May until the end of September. Call for hours and admission prices before you go.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo - Lions and tigers and bears and thousands of animals from seven continents. That's what you'll find roaming 165 acres including a tropical rainforest. Makes you feel like you're not in Cleveland anymore. You can visit the zoo every day except Christmas and New Year's days. Admission for the zoo and rainforest is $7 for adults(12+); $4 for children(2-11); free for children under 2. The zoo is open 9am to 5pm; the rainforest 10am to 5pm except Wednesday, when the hours are 10am to 9pm.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum - Do something really groovy with the family anytime of the year and show them where real music comes from. The museum has 55 exhibits. There is everthing from a recording studio to stage costumes and films. The admission price of $14.95 is an exceptional value for this museum.

Six Flags at Geauga Lake - How can you take the kids on a vacation and not take them to an amusement park? When you go to Cleveland, you can take them to the Six Flags at Geauga Lake. The young ones will just love Rainbow Island , Butch Hightides Play Park and Turtle Beach. For the not so faint at heart, try the 1999 introduction to sheer Fear Time Warp, Geromino skycoaster and Giant Wheel are waiting for all that dare. General admission is $28.99; children under 48" is $14.50; seniors (61+) and disabled is $15.99 and children under 2 are free. parking is $6. hours vary, so call before you go.

U.S.S.Cod - Up periscope. All you on land head for the U.S.S. Cod an original world war II submarine. Board through the original hatchways and watch your head! The U.S.S. Cod has been docked at the port of Cleveland for 40 years and sits waiting for visitors from ay 1 through the end of September. Hours are 10am - 5 pm. There is a nonimal admission fee but parking is free.

Hale Farm and Village - Travel back in time and visit the hale farm and village. You can experience life as it was in 1848. See village artisans at work while capturing the beliefs and lifestyles of the local residents. Hale farm and village is open May 22 - October 31. operating hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm; Sunday - noon to 5pm. General admission is $9 for adults; $7.50 for seniors; $5.50 for children 2-6;children under 2-free. Parking is also free.

Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum - When the going gets tough the tough look at cars. This is the ultimate in car showrooms. See cars from the 1800's to the current cars of the rich and famous. The museum is open all year;Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm; Wednesday - 10am - 9pm; Sunday - noon to 5pm.

Pro Football Hall of Fame - Two bits, four bits, six bits a dollar. All who love football stand up and holler! Don't miss the ultimate in football heaven. Everything you ever wanted to know about football is here in the huge museum. Open everyday of the year except Christmas, the hours from Memorial day through Labor day are 9am to 8pm. The rest of the year, hours are 9am - 5pm. admission is $10 for adults; $6.50 for seniors(62+); $5 for children under 14; and a special rate of $25 for families(parents and dependent children)

Cleveland Museum of Natural History - Get lost in the world of pre-historic times. Imagine what it was like to roam the earth with dinosaurs. Check out what nature has to offer. Rocks, bugs and plants. Don't miss any of them. When you come back to the present, enter the planetarium and buy yourself a star. No wishing on one, these stars are really for sale. The Museum and Planetarium are open everyday except January 1, Memorial day, July 4, Labor day, Thanksgiving, December 24 & 25 and December 31. Open Monday - Saturday 10am to 5pm and sunday noon to 5pm. the price of admission is $6.50 for adults; $4.50 for children 7 - 18, college students with id and seniors; $3.50 for children 3-6; children under 2 are free. a very safe parking lot is available for weekday rates of $.90 per 1/2 hr or $7 max and a flat rate of $5 for weekend visitors.

If you know what's good for you, you'll leave you're bad habits at the door. The health Museum of Cleveland is open all year Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 12pm to 5pm. Admission is $4.50 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, free for children under three.

Cleveland Police Historical Society - Criminals - beware! After a visit to the Cleveland Police Historical Society, the next words you may hear are "citizens arrest!" all of you law abiding citizens can visit the Museum any time during the year. The Museum is open Monday through Friday 10am to 4pm. Admission is free.

Closed January 1, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission is free.

The Cleveland Children's Museum - This is one Museum where "don't touch" or "be quiet" are words that your children won't hear. Watch your kids build a bridge or have a look through juno the see-through woman. This extra sensory Museum is open all year 10am to 5pm daily. Admission is free for children under 18 months; $4 for 18 months to 15 yrs; $5 for all others over 16 except $4.50 for seniors. Parking is free.
